Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 16, 2026
Rezume is made by Aniruddh Dubge. This policy explains what data is involved when you buy and use Rezume.
What Rezume collects: nothing.
Rezume has no accounts, no analytics, no crash reporting and no telemetry. Your window layouts, app lists and desktop arrangements are stored only on your Mac and are never sent to us.
What leaves your Mac
- License activation. When you enter a license key, the app sends the key and your Mac's name (e.g. “Ani's MacBook Pro”) to Polar (polar.sh) to activate it. On later launches it sends the key and activation ID to check the license is still valid. Polar stores this with your purchase record. Polar's privacy policy: polar.sh/legal/privacy
- Updates. The app checks for updates by fetching a feed from our Cloudflare-hosted storage. Cloudflare sees your IP address, as any web request does. We don't log it.
Purchases
Payments are processed by Polar, our merchant of record. Polar collects your email, payment details and billing country to process the order, issue invoices and handle taxes. We can see your email and order in the Polar dashboard so we can support you. We don't see your card details.
Website
rezumeapp.com is hosted on Vercel. Vercel keeps standard server logs (IP, user agent, page requested) for a short period. We don't run analytics or ad trackers.
Emails
You'll receive purchase and license emails from Polar. We only email you if you contact support.
Your rights
Email icantcodefyi@gmail.com to see or delete what we hold about you (an order email and license key). Refunds are handled per the Terms.
Children
Rezume isn't directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We'll update this page and the date above. Significant changes are noted in the app's release notes.
